Its really hard to accept the fact that, no matter how hard you try sometimes, people just dont appreciate you and dont take you seriously.

Perhaps I should take myself somewhere else. Perhaps, I should start to care less and just find someone who appreciates me more.

No doubt, I got upset when I found out but that is just human nature. You have the right to choose how much love to pour on someone despite the other person had given her all.

The circumstances of growing up would be getting more and more distant to what you used to think would be simple to keep beside. I used to think I wont feel so but reality hits and as hard as I would like to admit, I think distance change everything there is within.

People say, what would be, will be and the true one stays.

How could that be true when you see the relationship you built all your life is starting to be, I dont know, distant?

Perhaps at one point, people let go and just take 2 steps back. Maybe then, it wont be that tiring.

Changes that you cant foresee, no matter how much you try to fight the truth, at one point, you would come to realize, this is the moment.

I think that is how parents feel, how fathers first feel when his daughter found love with another guy, how mom feels when her son starts to love another woman and how I feel towards a whole lot of things, to people, to close ones.

The sensible, the sweet, the person who smiles all the time as if the world would not end at 21st of December 2012 at 11.11am =P, a person who keeps everything inside and acts as if she doesn't care and the person who cant seem to spill even just a tiny bit out to anyone. I blame my past relationship with someone I wish to erase, but then again, I should be thankful that Im way pass that now and i've become stronger to be able to learn from my silly mistakes.

All I want for now, is to have a simple life, appreciate people whom I know deep down how much they love me and those who just wont leave no matter how mean I treat them, I want security, I want to be able to have a glass of wine with my friends and be able to get drunk because I know they will not take advantage of me, I want all this.

Appreciation towards being used

I have always been a very sensitive person. How sensitive?

When I was in primary 1, I will make sure that the doors in my room were locked. I make sure that every chord in my room are not placed near flammable things like books or cloths. I go downstairs alone to make sure that the main doors were double locked.

That 'OCD' side of me to make sure that everything is secure. I woke up the time my mom opens her the door of her room because I was that sensitive to sound and at one point, I swear that I could hear almost everything including the sound of a needle dropped. I know, I was THAT sensitive. I put myself in everyones shoe and I was just, hmm what word can I use to describe myself without having people to think I'm crazy, well, caring/sensitive/ always thinking of others before myself? Pff.. what ever you want to call it.

As the years gone by, I have metamorphosed and became this awesome person that knows pretty well about the arts of human phycology. I cant say that I know everything 100% but so far, I manage to see and even experienced some situation myself.

I recall watching a short clip from the movie SAW where 2 man were being chained together and was about to die. Unless one kills the other, both will not survive but if one is selfish enough, he might live.

"Pressure" obviously makes the situation worst. The constraints given makes you go crazy as well as more impatient.

The Moment of Truth

The stronger one wins but then again, are you strong enough to live your life knowing that you sacrifice someone else for your personal satisfaction?

One might think the survivor won and that he/she is stronger, eventually the survivor is still the biggest loser because, the game of selfishness has no winners.

It gets back to you, somehow.

It's has been a great summer for the year of 2010.
2010 will be a very important year in my life as I get to realize how fragile life can be.
I now realize how lucky i am because for 20 years and 6 months, I have all my love ones with me, my grandparents from both mother and father side, amazing parents and siblings, great friends who never fail to be by my side to support me. I couldn't ask for more.

20 years and 6 months after, God wanted me to learn how to let go.
Letting go seems to be an easy word, to spell, to say and think about but then again, what you think and what you can do is always different.

I can still remember the times when my mom would bring us back to Segamat to visit my maternal grandparents. Grandma who is the best-EST cook ever,will make just the most amazing dishes out of the simplest ingredient for us if we stay for dinner and grandpa, the person who always be the last person to eat even if he was starving.

My memory of grandpa might not be a lot, but the ones i hold on to are great enough for me to remember him as a great person, a loving father and husband as well as a caring grandpa towards his grandchildren. He have soft grey hair, a belly that shows of how amazing of a cook my grandma is and his blue motorcycle that he rides everyday to kopitiam just to have coffee.
He wears a white singlet with shorts and sits on his 'rotan' chair watching tv most of the time when we arrive.

He would sit there and talk to us, offering the remote control to my siblings and I to watch cartoons and he is always the one who bought us 'Wantan mee' and 'Chee Cheung Fan' everytime we're there.

He passed away a day after i visited him at the hospital when i went back to Malaysia this summer and yeah, it feels weird that i cant get to see him anymore the next time i go back.

I remember talking to him while he was on the hospital bed. He seems healthy and everything seems fine with his report. He was telling me that he will be going for his CT scan the next day and without any signs, he was..well, in a better place the next morning.
Somehow, i see that coming but then again, its just hard to believe that you lose someone..just like that. I suppose that's life. Expect the unexpected.

The last thing i did for him was i bought him green apple vitagen cause he loves it =)
and before i leave him at the hospital, i gave him a hug - my first and very last hug.

He nodded his head while smiling sweetly as i asked him if he misses grandma and he told me 'wai po makes the best niang tou fu'.
Its must be hard for grandma because she doesn't know what happened from the start as no one dares to tell her the truth from the start that grandpa is diagnosed with cancer. White lie does help rather than having a old fragile woman worrying and crying over something that no one can change, at least she can sleep at night without wetting her pillow for more than a year.

A few weeks ago, i have no idea why that i kept thinking about him. His last words to me, his smile, his shirt and his 20 cents that he would give us to 'juan ji dan' =)
I cried, and I cried but i know that he is now in a better place with no more pain and suffer.

Thank you God, for giving me such a wonderful maternal grandpa...and grandpa, thank you so much for giving me the best mom in the world. I will do my best to protect her and I will try my best not to take things for granted.

I miss you, I always will.

I decided to gather friends at our apartment for a drinking party to start our weekend.
Like what Joe said when i told her how depress i was in EL, she said to me,
'Try to make happiness out of nothing'
Well, you do need something to create happiness and yes, mind i say that alcohol is a must?

We got plenty of beers,hard liqueur and wain so that we wont run out of it.
First of all, Green Apple Smirnoff.

Wanted to get a moijito flavored one but they dont sell that in Goodrich's.

Ahhh, next we have Grey Goose vodka.
Sadly, no one got drunk =P

Smirnoff classic lemonade for the ladies.

and lastly, food! How can you not have pizza?

Ladies from MSU are always this hot.

So I finished my finals. To be hones, I cant see my future cause it's too dark now that I know my exam papers killed me instead of the opposite.
Anyways, its over and we look forward! HOORAR!!

It has been a decade since last step foot in Meijer - a hypermarket yet its smaller than Wal-Mart.
List to do : 1) Nab as much peanut butter m&m's as much as you can!
2) Play with trolley
3) Do not, I repeat, Do NOT forget hershey's!

I spent $105 just on chocolates! Yes, you must be thinking 'YOU MAD WOMAN!' I figure, since my friends are all so crazy over those m&m's, might as well buy a lot of it and sell it to them double price. That's what I learn from my business class. LOL!

Im going to check in a bag full of choco's and the last time I weight them, its around 40 lbs!! YES!!thats like 18kg!

Date : Before Spring Semester 10 Ends.

It's been almost a year since I last step my foot back at home.
I cant believe how time just fly by!
No doubt I miss home.
I miss the people whom I love and care about dearly.
Kwan Wee,SynJoe,Pigster, mom and dad.
I miss my friends but sadly, they wont be around when I'm back.

It's been a great experience being alone abroad. I've learn so much and become more independent (which some people find it as a big problem because they are concern that i might end up living alone in a one bed room apartment having 27 cats).
Who cares? Im turning 21 soon and all I want for now, is to appreciate all the small little things in life like watching Glee or staying up late just to rush on my assignment or keep on thinking of something witty to put as my caption on facebook to gain people's attention!(Im just being sarcastic just so you know)

I thought, well, it's not hard to have all this so why bother?
I find what my dad said so true yet at the same time, I was rather shocked due to his 'mature-ness' LOL
Don't get me wrong,my dad/boyfriend is a super attractive and cute man who took a longer time to grow into having a wiser mentality. I remember that when he was at his mid 30's, I was left alone at home cause mom had to go somewhere(I was too young to know where my mom went), so, my dad kind of forgotten that he has a 5 year old kid at home that he has to feed. HAHA!!!!!
The cutest thing that he did is that, as I walked myself downstairs, he was shocked to see me and then it took him sometime to realize that I was hungry. HAHA!!!
OMG, sorry guys..this is really funny..LOL!!!

Dad said to me 'Ah Yi, come, papa make something special for you! It's very nice to eat,don't worry! Papa have it covered!'

Guess what he made me?
He took a can of condensed milk out from the fridge, took 2 table spoon out of it and poured hot water on the condensed mlik - I know you don't see anything wrong with this, moving on, he took a piece of bread and utterly made me a bread with CONDENSED MILK as the spread! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

'Ah Yi, have you ever tried this before? Its very nice to eat and drink cause it's sweet. You like sweet right =D'

Yes, that was my dad back in the days, I guess we must have run out of milo and peanut butter spread at that time. LOL!!

I find no logic in this then he explains to me how this works.

He told me that, when you are young, you will have HEALTH and POWER, BUT not MONEY.
Ok, I agree with that. As part of the young people community, I have to agree that we do have great health and the power(freedom, ability to do something extreme/making decisions and have nothing to lose).

Then, he continued saying that, when your old, you will have POWER and MONEY but all you wanted at that very moment is HEALTH. With all that power and money, it is useless that you don't have the chance to even spend and enjoy it!

YES! My dad is a wise wise man =P

Until now, I can still remember this because...it's so F***ING true!!!

Have you ever fear of lonesome?
Watching TV alone, eating alone, going shopping alone?
I guess it's normal to feel so and I know that inside everyone's heart, no matter how much they deny it, they just want to be able to find someone to share their life's with.
It's rather nice when you get to have someone waiting for you at the couch, waiting for you for dinner while you get back from a stressful day from work.

Don't get me wrong, this is not something I feel but what I see and learned about.

When you reach a stage in life, you would start to think about your career, how your going to survive life in the future? Cars, houses, and men/women.

I met a girl from Indonesia as I was loitering around Chicago.
She's 28 and has a really great job with GE. Earning big bucks and getting to travel all around the world. Everything was paid by GE, and no doubt she is enjoying her life.
Dui- the indonesian girl, said that, despite getting to have a secure life for now, she feels that something is missing in her life.
We met at the bar while she was sitting alone,waiting for her food to arrive. She started talking to me and it was a really pleasant conversation and i learnt a lot from her.

She is still single and she really hopes to find love before it's too late. Well, due to my 'perception and stands' towards relationships, I told this fine young and successful woman that, I think I understand your feeling and at your age, the things you want in life seems to change.

She was surprised, perhaps not knowing that a 20 year old can think so maturely. Yes, my father raised me right. =)

We parted ways after I leed her to the subway stations and went shopping.
I really enjoyed my moments alone. Maybe my nature of liking freedom. Somehow, even i know how to think right, I still feel rather skeptical towards relationships. Perhaps like what i told Dui, when your at a certain age in life, what you want is different.

For now, I just want to do my part as a daughter, a student and as a good friend towards the people I care about.

Since we're all mostly single and hwat, what the heck ladies, ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE AND GO DO WHATEVER THE F*** YOU WANT!!! =D

Live Life to the Fullest! Let nature takes it's course.
I believe that if it's mend to be, it's mend to be and when the time comes, the right person will come along.

Dad told me,he knew what her little girl was like as she ran knocking to his door calling out "Papa,Papa faster bring the 小鸟 the hospital''.

Dad asked why do his little girl wants him to take a '小鸟' to the hospital and this naive little girl said to him, 'The bird hit the wall and fall to the ground'.

I don't remember any of this but dad told me, he knew exactly what I'm like after this incident.

Looking back in time, I cant help but to smile as the memories starts flashing in my mind.

I remember my favorite blue color sleeveless shirt and my favorite guns which i use to kill my sister's Barbie doll, I remember doing all the naughty things not to mention having to go into the fitting room with your aunt when she is trying out her bra...God, I should really erase that part from my mind.I remember playing water with my sister at the upper balcony, we got all wet but it was so fun to get to play with water.We got scolded big time by mom but I do remember how Cindy ask me to hide under the blanket before mom see's us being all soaked up. I think mom was smart enough to figure out that there's someone else hiding under the blanket.

When I was in Kindergarten, my principle will have to talk to my mom about my 'AWESOME' progress in class. I come last in class and Mrs. principle did say that she is impress by my imagination level and my great skills in building sandcastle in the air. Luckily, mom and dad still love me the same despite having a half retarded child who plays with her pencil case everyday- I have the coolest..i mean COOLEST pencil case ever!!! It has all this secret compartment and buttons that make the parts open!!! God i miss my pencil case =(

I hated class especially Chinese classes. Worst thing that can happen is to have a private tutor to teach you more words that you know you will not remember when your old.LMAO!! Maybe the reason why I still went for that awful class is because I like his nephew's car! He has this freaking cool 2 door convertible!!Ok, it moves after you charged it up for a few hours..who cares?! I can drive that thing and looking as cool as Kimi Raikkonen!! Sadly, i've never own one..I do own a 2 wheel scooter that you have to keep on pushing with one leg. Of you cant have 4, 2 is good enough.

Those are the memories. Well...not all but I doubt nobody wants to read a 5000 word essay talking about how growing up is like...Blah Blah Blahh (@.@ll)

I woke up today noticing something weird...no, its not me going through puberty again. It just hit me that, I'm 20 years old and I cant seem to resist the fact that I'm getting more mature mentally..ok and physically...god..I cant imagine what my face will look like with layers of wrinkles! You can't seem to understand a word people are saying even when they have MAKE THEMSELVES EXTREMELY CLEAR.

If you remember everything clearly, this will be my SECOND time to tell you this.

Yes, you and I have can't understand each other at all and frankly speaking, I rather keep it that way.

Your a good person, I know that.The problem is that, you don't know how to 'BACK OFF'.

You 'DONT' have to push your helping hand when I already make clear hints that I DO NOT NEED ONE.

When I need one, I will ask or tell you and if you're willing to help, then I thank you for that.

You helped me at the very beginning and I appreciate it a lot.

I hate people asking weird/unnecessary questions and I will talk to you when I feel that it is necessary.

Nasi Lemak

Date : My 1st Nasi Lemak after 6 months!

Thanks to Sifu Syikin for teaching me how to cook her 'INCONSISTENT' Nasi lemak!!

It's pretty simple.

1st-Boil em eggs.

Oh No!! My secret identity is out.Yes...I'm ULTRAWOMAN! LOL!

Then,cut em into half and slice some cucumbers.

Meanwhile, wash some rice,you'll need,coconut milk,onions,garlic,pandan leaves-if you cant find that,use lemon grass,and a lil ginger.Add a lil salt to the rice then Cook IT!!

Oh ya, remember to stir people!!

TADAAAAAH!!

Now for the gravy a.k.a sambal.

Dried chili,some chili powder,tomatoes,garlic,onions,you can add some chili paste if you want to make it extra spicy,or add cili padi's,some anchovies as well.

Blend it all together.

Boil some oil,then pour in what you've blend,stir well and add some sugar and salt.

While waiting for the sauce to be a lil more sticky,lets kill some Anchovies!!

Drown them,rip off their heads and fry them to make them crispy!!

It really depends of how you like em to be,after frying those really dead anchovies, pour them inside the gravy your cooking.

Stir and shake your ass.

Then stir and do some tasting to see if you need to add more salt or sugar.

Then your all set!!

After performing at the talent show for McGlobe, despite that i did not win, Amber came to me and ask me to perform for Global Festival. She said she likes 'Bao Bei' very much. I seriously thought she was kidding. Someone told me that i should really perform and so, i did.

It's not good but, i'm really happy that i was able to so this at least twice in my life =)

So i was talking to Jessica on skype with my LIGHTS AND FAN ON, of all the sudden, it went dark. Guess what?

My 'SUPER SMART' house mate is so smart that he made the whole place blackout! AWESOME!!

He bought this extension and while he plugs it in, it go 'Bizzzz, pow..boom?' He said that he was lucky enough to survive.

Well, actually, i dont really care...the most important thing now is that I NEED MY ELECTRICITY!!

Thank God that i was smart enough to fix this. Pressed some buttons in my room and ..TADAAH, i got what i wanted!

Short after, Erwin-my house mate's buddy, came to me and ask me if i know that my housemate nearly died...well..read for your self from our conversation.

Never ask a narcissistic person if she knows that her house mate nearly died cause...duhh?

Hurray!!

I finally have my own room after all this years!LMAO!!

I remember the first time renting a room in SS/15 yet i NEVER stayed there NOT EVEN ONCE!

Thanks to my 186 friends who stopped me from living alone in that small little room!

Then it was in Ridzuan where i stayed for free with my JPA friends.

Despite some unwanted speculations about some random stuff, i still enjoy the times living there.

This year,before i flew half of the world to East Lansing-[The land of Bore some] to pursue my 'so call higher education', i stayed with my annoyingly sweet sister in SS/15 again! Ahh...How i miss speeding like hell and cutting people's line cause i was late for class.HAHA!!

It's awesome to live with Joe cause i made her feel so jealous due to my homework free and study free course! All hail SUNWAY ADTP!!

When i reach here, i stayed with my current 'HOUSE MATE'--seriously,there is a BIG difference between house mate and roommate.We only share house not ROOMS OK?

He has been sleeping on the living room for almost 1 year..yup,the couch is his bed!LOL~

We moved in officially yesterday and i got the bigger room XD

The advantage of being a egoistic woman,you get bigger rooms and the power to dominate!

Loving my room,decorated it with pweety lights and a lovely Garfield poster!

Came back from Toronto last week. How was it? Hmm...its...AWESOME!! XD

I had a lot of fun there,not because of the place(probably because i was legal to buy alcohol ;-P) but i guess whats makes it great is that i get to spend some time with my 'aunty friend'.

Look how far we've come. I'm just grateful to have such great friends around me.

Thats why, i cherish em and i do my best to show them how much i appreciate them.

Note: Not everyone can have that from me,you better damn cherish me as well.

Skip my Quantitative class and rush to the airport after my Marketing test.Luckily i get to check in on time..the flight was about to take off =S

The moment when i walked out from the arrivals, there i saw Anuty Ler. She saw me and smiled. You can actually imagine that i run and drop all my bags to hugg her...NOT =P Ok maybe just half true about that statement.

Hawaii~

It took me more than 10 hours to reach Big Island in Hawaii .It was one hell of a ride and it was worth it. Look at that view...

The sound of the waves pounding across the soft sandy beach,the sunset disappearing into the horizon and you getting the front role sit to view it.I will definately go there again next time.

It was the best place to be and the best place for newlyweds to go.

Sadly, i was stuck with my housemate..AGAIN =.=ll

Thats the only unsatisfaction i had so far....being at the right place with the WRONG PERSON!

I was more F Up when people start to think that we are both young married couple! WTF?

I'll be leaving to Hawaii in 6 hours time. Well, these couple of days had been exciting what more to be able to travel to Hawaii later?

Im looking foward to do some water activity and i have prepared myself mentally that i will become really roasted when i come back for classes.

Bought a box of indo mee today and also a box of 'Wong Lou Kat' haha...Thanks to John-Sharon's man, Yee Yi and I are able to get what we want without having to carry them since he drove us around today.

I went helpinging around campus the other day and i enjoyed myself a lot!

Making new friends and ..lol..something that makes me..well, lets just say, im pretty happy that i went that day due to certain reasons =P

After helping around, i went out with Peter-my China friend.

He's a really nice guy. He bought me dinner which i am very 'pai seh' of and we went to the movies after.

Mid-Night Sushi Makes Synyi Go Tee Hee!!

Living in Michigan makes life as dull as you can spell DULL.

Well, you can say that its a nice, cosy, friendly place to be in but in other words, that is a nicer way to say, its a dull place!

Yee Yi and I went to this Japanese place called Omni Sushi. Thank you Mr Ong for treating me lunch *Winks* .

The place is kind of small but crowded at the same time.

The menu seems nice with all the 'Katsudon,Tempura and also things like California role' What is nicer was the 'Ka Ching' Part. With a price like that , i can eat until i got seafood poisoning in Malaysia.But still, it was all worth it cause it makes me happy =) Haha...

The Appetizer: Salad with 'ala chinese+english+japanese taste sauce'

Ahhh Udon...This is actually better than Sushi Kings.

The Udon is just the right taste for me!

I ordered Chicken Udon and the chicken was..well...Chicken?

Despite the ridiculous price which Yee Yi pays, i still think its worth it cause, Money can buy you happiness.HAHA!!
